Pesticide Application Re-Certification (PAC) Program
The Pesticide Applicators Certification program provides an alternative to growers having to re-test every five years.
Instead, growers can obtain credits by attending courses throughout the five year period of certification, and renew their certificate through credits rather than writing the exam again.

Continuing Education Credit System for the Recertification of Pesticide Applicators Certificates
As part of our Member Services, the BCFGA:
- Gains approval from the Ministry of Environment for PAC courses so growers who attend can earn PAC points.
- Tracks course attendance and keeps records of growers’ PAC points.
- Submits the recertification request to the Minister of Environment on the growers’ behalf.
Ready to renew?
- Reach out to BCFGA’s Member Services Manager to ensure you have enough points.
- Send us a cheque for your renewal fee, made out to the Minister of Environment for $25.
- We’ll send the Ministry your cheque, PAC report card, and recertification letter.
- The Ministry will send you your new certification number.
- Please remember to send the BCFGA your new number so we can start recording your points for the next five years!
